The community day activities will provide support to access mainstream leisure and educational activities for individuals who are not able to do so alone.

Community Day Activities support will be individually tailored to meet such needs.

Support staff will be qualified to NVQ2 as a minimum and will deliver a high quality service.  Staff will have a caring attitude and this, together with their qualification and experience, will ensure individual goals and personal choice are met.

Some of the activities we can support are as follows:

• Swimming
• Shopping
• Attendance for medical and other appointments
• Dancing
• Visits to leisure centres and gyms
• Eating out
• Theatre trips
• Concerts,
• Sporting events
• Finding a job
• Cinema

This is not an exhaustive list and we will always strive to meet individual requests.

The cost of transport and activity fees will need to be met by the individual.  Careview will meet staff costs.
