Mr Shem Singh - Registered Provider

Before becoming a Provider for Care Services Mr Singh worked in the automotive industry for 22 years. He has had responsibility, at senior management level, for, design, Engineering, purchasing and development work.

In August 2006 he opened, as proprietor, a residential care home for adults with learning disabilities in West Bromwich.
In July 2008, he became the proprietor of a residential care home for older people in Stoke-on-Trent.
Both of these care homes are registered with Commission for Social Care Inspection with Mr Singh named as the proprietor

In 2007 Mr Singh was awarded NVQ2 and NVQ3 qualifications in Health and Social Care. Mr Singh takes a keen interest in service users well being and enjoys working in the homes and regularly supports outdoor activities for our service users.

I have recently achieved an NVQ 4 & LMA/RMA in Adult Health & Social Care. I have gained almost 5 years management experience in working with and supporting individuals from multi cultural societies with various types of disabilities.

I have a vast amount of hand on experience in delivering various types of care duties such as Personal Care, various domestic chores, 1:1 Support, Social Interaction, Sit0In Services and also supported with general day to day living.
